The Extech 1000A Clamp Meter with IR Thermometer features a non-contact IR thermometer with laser pointer. Multimeter functions include AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, type K temperature, diode, and continuity. The 1.7" jaw opening fits conductors up to 750MCM or two 500MCM. Instrument functions include peak hold, data hold, max/min, and autoranging with manual range button. 

 

Additionally, Model EX810 measures AC current, model EX820 measures AC current, and uses a type K thermometer and true RMS for accurate results. Model EX830 measures DC/AC current, DC zero, and uses type K thermometer and true RMS for accurate measurements. The true RMS gives users accurate readings of non-sinusoidal waveforms.
